How Pungra handles your personal information on this website, the Course Wall and Pungra Chat.

When you sign in to Pungra Chat we receive your email address and, if you use Google, Facebook, Microsoft or LinkedIn to sign in, the name that account shares with us. We never receive your password for those accounts. Chat also stores:
Everything you post can be read by everyone in that chat, including viewers. Viewers see only the first letter of members' names and no photos. Chats that an administrator has set to public can also be read by anyone who opens the chat page without signing in; guests see the same first-letter view, with no photos, and no personal details are shown to them. Members see first names and photos. Administrators can see full names and email addresses, and can delete messages, suspend people from posting or remove them. Please do not post anything sensitive, private or about other people without their permission.
We use this information only to run the chat. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
If you finish a course and ask to be featured, you give your name, email, and optionally a photo and links. Your name, photo and links are shown on the Course Wall only with your permission, after we check them. Your email is never shown. You can ask to be removed at any time using the button on the Course Wall page.
We use a privacy-friendly analytics service (Umami) to count visits and see which pages are used. The site is hosted on Netlify. Forms on this site are handled by Netlify and sent to us by email. Your course progress is kept in your own browser and is not sent to us unless you submit your results.
We use Supabase to store chat data and handle sign-in, Netlify to host this website and receive form submissions, and your chosen sign-in provider (Google, Facebook, Microsoft or LinkedIn) if you use one. They process information on our behalf, or under their own terms for sign-in.
Chat information is kept while you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete your profile and photo. Messages you posted may be deleted too, or kept without your name, as you prefer. Course Wall entries stay until you ask for removal.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Email ravi8@me.com and we will reply. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
